Fourth Street Festival of the Arts

The annual Labor Day Weekend show, occurring when students and their visiting families return to Indiana University, is organized by local artists and hosts over 100 artisans from across the country who offer their work to the public. The Festival's high standards and independent, professional jury attract artisans from all over the United States to exhibit each year. Artists from the greater Monroe County area usually are well represented. The Festival committee emphasizes the arts focus of the event, and invites non-profit arts groups from the area to have booths promoting their community and area activities and opportunities.
