Freshman Family Weekend
Bloomington Welcomes Freshman Families, September 14-16!
This is the perfect weekend for exploring Indiana University and the Bloomington community. You'll find numerous open houses and special activities available especially for freshman, including a hosted tailgate at the Hoosier Village Tailgate Tent before the IU football game.
The Hoosier Village Tailgate Tent is organized by the IU Alumni Association to welcome present and future Alums to Bloomington and features tailgate food, games, activities and more. All freshman and their families are welcome to attend as guests of Visit Bloomington, the IU Office of First year Experience and the IUB Parents Association.

The Tailgate Party action begins at 6 pm and game time is 8 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Parking on campus is available to visitors in most areas from 5 pm Friday to 11 pm Sunday. This includes A, B and C spaces as well as D and E spaces adjacent to reidence halls, but does not include 24 hour A spaces and Reserved spaces. Check with IU Parking Operations for more information.
