Indiana University's world class Jacobs School of Music presents opera, ballet, and musical performances throughout the year. The school's primary performance venue, the Musical Arts Center (MAC), is known around the world for its advanced acoustical design and similarity to New York City's Metropolitan Opera. Additional venues include Auer Hall, Ford-Crawford Hall, and the Conrad Prebys Amphitheater.

All Jacobs School of Music performances are open to the public, and many are free.
