Founded by Dr. Alfred C. Kinsey in 1947, the Kinsey Institute is a dynamic interdisciplinary research center and archival collection, world-renowned for research, historical preservation, and education programs exploring sex, sexuality, relationships, and well-being. The institute's collections include print materials, film & video, fine art, artifacts, photography, and archives from six continents, spanning 2,000 years of human history.

Due to undergoing renovations, the institute is currently closed to the public. Upon reopening, tours will be available by appointment only.
