Grunwald Gallery of Art

The Grunwald Gallery (formerly known as the SoFA Gallery) at IU's Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts represents contemporary art (made in the last 20 years) by significant regional and nationally known artists as well as by students within the school.  These exhibitions are supplemented with lectures, gallery talks, tours and other programs. The public is invited to all events and special tours can be arranged by calling 812-855-8490. The gallery is accessible to people with all abilities. Hours are Tues.-Sat. Noon - 4 pm. All events and exhibits are free.

The Friends of Art Bookshop, located adjacent to the SoFA Gallery in the Fine Arts Building at Indiana University, is one of Bloomington's best kept secrets. FoA Bookshop maintains an extensive line of art books in all fields of interest as well as a wide variety of cards, posters, jewelry, and art-related gift items. Profits from all sales go directly back to the students of IU's School of Fine Arts, supporting talented young art students. Your purchases help to sponsor student travel, research, internships, tuition, and much more. Store hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9 am to 6 pm and Sat.-Sun. 1-5 pm (reduced hours during the summer and other IU breaks.)
