Having a major research university in your back yard means there are thousands, if not millions, of documents, artifacts, and artwork in collections throughout campus. That focus of studying and preserving important academic and cultural pieces spills into the rest of the community too. See a Picasso, learn about the local limestone industry, and teach your kids about science all in one day. Admission is affordable at all museums, and at many campus museums it’s free.

Many museums on campus have visitor parking nearby, and downtown museums are within a few blocks of free parking garages. The city and campus bus system also makes stops near the museums.
