Event Information

The USA Water Polo TURBO Champions Cup includes twelve 14 & under boys teams and twelve 14 & under girls teams from clubs throughout the nation. Additionally, athletes must be in 8th grade or younger and age 14 or younger as of August 1, 2011 to participate in this event. This has been held in the Midwest area for the last seventeen years, in order to promote the growth of water polo throughout the central U.S. The USA Water Polo 14 & Under National Championship is one of our organization's most prized events.

To enter your club in this event; you must be a current USAWP member listed as the club administrator or club contact. All teams must enter through the online system prior to the entry deadline, Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in order to compete in a qualification tournament AND the National Championship. To register for the Turbo Champions Cup, click here.

One boys team and one girls team from each zone will be allocated a spot. The host zone, Midwest Zone, is allocated two spots.

Teams must qualify through their zone for allocated spots. After the preliminary closing date of September 22, unclaimed spots will be re-allocated based on membership numbers in each zone as of December 31, 2010.

All athletes must have USA Water Polo Gold level membership to compete in the Turbo Champions Cup.

All athletes MUST be affiliated with the club they will be playing for in the Zone Qualifier and the National Championship. Please note, the affiliation deadline for Turbo Champions Cup is one week prior to the zone qualifying tournament or October 20 if not qualification tournament is required.

The USA Water Polo TURBO Champions Cup will be played with updated USAWP Playing Rules except for; 6 minute quarters and 30 second shot clocks.
