To some of us, the most exciting thing happening in May in Bloomington is the fabulous weather. It's a great time to go boating, fishing, running, hiking, and patio sitting. In case you ever get tired of simply soaking up the sunshine, here are 10 events that you'll probably want to add to your calendar right away.

The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra and Bloomington Chamber Singers present a multimedia performance of Gustav Holst's The Planets, paired with images from NASA and narrations. Youth Concerto Competition winner Zoie Hightower will perform the first movmenet of Jean Sibelius' Violin Concerto in D minor.
