B-town a Music Video Hot Spot?

Categories: Arts & Culture

Is Bloomington the latest music video hot spot?  Well, I don't know about that, but there have certainly been a couple of great videos recently filmed in this Indiana college town!

Singer and songwriter (and IU graduate) Elizabeth Eckert fell in love with Bloomington in her time at Indiana University . . . and she wrote a great song about the experience. As a fan on our Facebook page said, "You can never really leave!"  Thankfully, you can come back to visit. Check out the official video for Elizabeth's song "Bloomington."

Also filmed in Bloomington, local rocker John Mellencamp's collaboration with Karen Fairchild, of the group Little Big Town, "A Ride Back Home." The video was filmed on the campus of Indiana University at Beck Chapel, located just east of the Indiana Memorial Union. The video has recently been nominated for a CMT Award!

Do you know of any other great music videos filmed in Bloomington?
