Congratulations 2009 Hospitality Award Winners

Categories: Arts & Culture

It was a beautiful night to be outdoors in Bloomington last night. Thankfully, the weather cleared up and our annual hospitality awards reception was held in the courtyard at the new Showers Inn B&B at the corner of 9th and Washington Streets. The atmosphere was beautiful, the company was great and there was even live music from Sarah's Swing Set!

This was the 7th annual presentation of awards to honor outstanding attractions and individuals in the Bloomington/Monroe County tourism industry. Tourism in this area is a $250 million per year industry that employs approximately 4,000 people, making it the third largest industry in Monroe County. This year's award recipients consistently go above and beyond the call of duty in making sure that our visitors have a wonderful time in Bloomington. Congratulations to all of this year's award winners!
