Dog-Friendly Restaurants and Attractions

Categories: Outdoors

The first thing I learned about Bloomington is that you must have a dog to live here. Then I learned that was an exaggeration, but still, basically everyone has a dog. So there are lots of dog-friendly joints around town, and when a Facebook fan recently asked for some suggestions, it got me asking my friends and colleagues about their favorite places to take a dog in Bloomington. So here you go -- and please add suggestions in the comments!

With the exception of the Upland Tasting Room, all of these refer to the outside patios/porches, so I'm not sure about the indoor situation. You'll want to call them to make sure their dog policy still applies.

Where not to take your dog: The Farmer's Market. While there are many dog lovers there, it's a crowded place and there's a ton of food out in the open. They have a no-pet policy.

Please share your other favorite dog-friendly places in the comments!
