Hoosier Hysteria is here . .

Categories: Indiana University

Tonight is the first home exhibition game for the men's basketball team. It should be an interesting season with a new coaching staff and all but two players new to the Branch McCracken court.

This is the first I remember in my time in Bloomington (and I'm sure I've been here much longer than that), where season tickets are available. While I am sure they aren't behind the bench or at center court, it seems the changes in the b-ball program has freaked some of the students out as they have sold fewer student tickets than ever before. I think the team is going to surprise people and be better than expected, (I have a $1 bet with someone about this). I'll have a better feel for it after tonight's game against Anderson University.

Coach Tom Crean has been working hard to bring the program back to its glory. I wish him and the student-athletes all the best this season.

It is also the annual Parents Weekend hosted by the Dean of Students Office and the last home football game of the season. Definitely, football temperatures will be in the 40's this weekend. It has been a roller-coaster ride on the field and in the stands this season...
