It's Spring Break!
I know, I know, all the students have already hit the road for Florida or other warm, sunny locales to our south, but believe it or not, Spring Break week is actually a fabulous time to visit Bloomington. All that great downtown atmosphere, great shops and fun galleries, incredible restaurants . . . and no crowds. That's right, no long waits to be seated for dinner, either and our weather's not so bad this week. Sure, it's not 85, but 65 feels pretty darn good to me!
Plus, there are still lots of great events going on this week. Take in some live music at The Player's Pub, Rhino's All Ages Club or The Bluebird (Todd Snider's playing this weekend!), take the kids to WonderLab for a "Galactic Adventure," or hit the local museums and galleries for a wide variety of exhibits.
With the nice spring weather in the forecast, head out to explore some of the Bloomington area's incredible natural beauty with the Clear Creek Trail, the Hoosier National Forest (don't miss the view from the Fire Tower) or Lake Monroe.
