Making its Bloomington debut, the fun and contemporary Broadway hit Waitress arrives at IU Auditorium next spring. Brought to life by a groundbreaking, all-female creative team, this Tony Award-nominated show features original music and lyrics by seven-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles (“Love Song,” “Brave”), a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam), and original direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland).

Nia Jones

Nia is Visit Bloomington’s Content Coordinator. She is a proud Chicago native, but after attending IU, she has yet to leave Bloomington. Her favorite thing about B-Town is the diversity and culture that is found in this small town in the Midwest.  She enjoys exploring new places around town and cheering on the Hoosiers.
