Winter's a great time to breakaway

Categories: Arts & Culture

You may not think there's much going on during the winter months in south central Indiana, but when it comes to B-town, you'd be seriously mistaken.  There are dozens of great events coming up over the next couple of months and we've made it even easier for you to visit Bloomington for a great winter getaway! For a limited time only (until March 9th, to be exact), Bloomington is offering a $99 Winter Package rate at six area hotels. Now, $99 is a great rate on its own, but we know that times are tough right now, so we've made this deal even better – you'll also receive over $99 in coupons and special offers from area businesses. I'll give you a minute to do the mental math . . .  that's right, you pay $99 for the hotel room and we'll give you $99 in special offers – that's about as close as you can get to a FREE winter getaway!

If you're an arts lover, winter is a great time to breakaway to Bloomington. Here are just a few of the great events and performances we've got coming up. There's something for everyone, no matter what your taste. See the Breakaway Calendar for more great events.
