Women's Basketball and IU both a great value. . .
Categories: Indiana University
The IU Women's Basketball team beat in-state rival Purdue at home to improve their record to (6-1) and move them into first place in the Big Ten. Game tickets are inexpensive, seats are good and the playing top notch, so if you ever get a chance to see the Lady Hoosiers play . . . take it!
With just a few home games left , efforts are taking place to fill Assembly Hall for the Men's Basketball games. The team continues to work hard and not give up, so I hope the renewed efforts of the Athletic Department will help keep Assembly Hall one of the most intimidating home courts.
It was announced earlier this month that Indiana University is one of just three Big Ten universities included among the 50 "Best Value" public colleges and universities according to the widely-known education services company, the Princeton Review. "Such national recognition for Indiana University's efforts to provide a high value along with a quality educational experience is rewarding," said Roger Thompson, IU vice provost for enrollment management. "It was especially noteworthy that they recognized IU's creative efforts in providing financial aid and thus keeping an IU degree accessible to talented students."
