Bloomington Early Music Festival Presents: USC Collegium Workshop

We are excited to welcome back 2018 YPF participants the USC Thornton Collegium Workshop back to Bloomington for the 2019 Festival. Lead by Adam Gilbert, The USC Thornton Collegium Workshop will present a program entitled, "Mi verry joy: Music from the Shores of England and France". ---- The interwoven histories of England and France in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries profoundly affected poetry and music. This program will feature music from the Ritson, Fayrfax and Henry VIII manuscripts of England and the Loire Valley Chansonniers of France, featuring anonymous unica from the recently discovered Leuven Chansonnier.
