The grande dame of Bloomington politics had to have an origin story. In her new book, “1971: How We Won,” Charlotte Zietlow recounts the history of her first run for office. The memoir, released today by Penn&Ink, is a 220-page look back at the momentous election that permanently changed the politics and governance of our city.
