Indiana University’s Hoosier Cosmic Celebration is an epic multi-media event featuring music, singing, dancing, and much, more more. Held at Memorial Stadium on the IU Campus, the event welcomes students, educators, neighbors, and the general public to share in this astounding astronomic event and celebrate the best of Indiana University arts, culture, and science. IU performers will take the stage with national celebrities to present what is surely the most cosmic eclipse-themed program in the world, an extravaganza of astronomical proportions focused on one life-changing event—a total eclipse—in grand Hoosier style. William Shatner performs a spoken word piece on history of universe in Indiana during the eclipse, with America’s first woman of color to travel to space, Mae Jemison, set to speak at the event. All followed by a concert from a grammy-nominated Janelle Monáe.

Other eclipse related activities are happening on campus at Dunn Meadow, the Arboretum, IU Cinema, IU Auditorium and more. More information on Indiana University eclipse events can be found at https://eclipse.iu.edu/
