IU Campus Limestone Architecture Tour - Part II

Explore the unique limestone architecture of the beautiful Indiana University campus with a tour led by Brian Keith, Emeritus Adjunct Senior Scientist at the Indiana Geological & Water Survey.

Part II of the tour will focus on the eastside area of campus.  This east tour covers buildings constructed from the 1920's to the present and will include Memorial Hall, Merrill Hall (music). The Simon Music Center, Musical Arts Center, Bryan House, Prebys Amphitheater, Lilly Library, IU Auditorium, School of Global & International Studies, Wells Library, Fine Arts, and Wildermuth Gymnasium.

Expect the tour to last about an hour and a half.  There is no fee to participate but registration is required, as space is limited.  Call the Bloomington Visitors Center (812-334-8900 or 800-800-0037) to register.  There will be a lot of walking and standing so make sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.  Sunscreen and/or a hat may be a good idea.  Also consider bringing your own water.  The event will take place in light rain, but in the case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.  Registrants will be notified up to an hour before start time via email.

Attendees will meet at the Circle Drive at the Indiana Memorial Union no later than 9:55am.  Paid parking is available at the Indiana Memorial Union.
