Explore the unique limestone architecture of the beautiful Indiana University campus with a walking tour led by Polly Sturgeon, the Outreach Coordinator at the Indiana Geological & Water Survey.

You'll be amazed at the styles, techniques, and artistry represented on campus. The tour will start at the Sample Gates (located at the intersection of Kirkwood and Indiana Avenues).

There will be a lot of walking and standing so plan to wear appropriate shoes.  Items such as bottled water and sunscreen may also be good to have.

The tour is free to attend and covers approximately 1 mile. No advance registration is required.  This event will take place in light rain, but in the case of inclement weather, it will be canceled.

Attendees may call the Bloomington Visitors Center at 812-334-8900 if there are any questions regarding cancellations due to weather.
