Paint Bloomington

Second Annual “Paint Bloomington!” Paint-Out - RAIN OR SHINE! Hosted by Arts Alliance of Greater Bloomington, Artists for Climate Awareness, Bloomington Watercolor Society, Portrait Group, Upland Plein Air, and Bloomington Parks & Recreation. Free classes 10 am–3 pm. Art supplies provided. All ages welcome! Artists' demonstrations, music, and storytelling throughout the day! Picnickers, friends, family are all welcome! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

CREATE ART – All art completed for judging must follow these guidelines:

• NO REGISTRATION FEE: Free event. No advance registration needed.
• Artists must check in at the pavilion 9.30-11 am day of the event.
• Original artwork eligible in any medium must be done in Bloomington the day of the event.
• Open to professional and emerging artists of all ages and skill levels.
• Canvasses or multi-media paper must be stamped before beginning.
• Supplies are available to artists for painting on Bryant Park grounds.
• Completed artwork for judging must be delivered by 3 pm to the Woodlawn Pavilion.
• Artist’s name and contact info should be printed on the back. Do NOT sign the front until after judging.
• Wet oil paintings should be in a frame (or BYO easel.)
AWARDS: ONLY stamped works done the day of the event will be judged.
• Awards will be given for artists in the following categories in all media
- Professional Artists
- Adult Artists
- Teens (Ages 12-17)
- Youth (Ages 7-11)
- Collaborative Art
