"Speaking of Excellence" Featuring George Takei

Union Board, in partnership with the IU LGBTQ+ Culture Center, presents the first edition of the brand new “Speaking of Excellence” lecture series featuring legendary actor, activist, author, and speaker George Takei. Best known for his portrayal of Mr. Sulu in the acclaimed television and film series Star Trek, Takei’s acting career has spanned five decades, and he has appeared in more than 40 feature films and hundreds of TV appearances.

Tickets available to IU Bloomington students starting Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. and then to faculty, staff, and the general public on Monday, March 6 at 10 a.m.
