Coming February 21, 2018, Walk the Talk takes a road trip to Bloomington, IN to present the topic of Creating Happiness. How does one create happiness for themselves? Does it come from within us or from the material world? For those unfamiliar, Walk the Talk is a TED-inspired speaker series focused on well-being and spirituality. We believe our series helps create a shift in the consciousness of people to openly discuss topics related to our focus and share processes to better themselves, others and walk the talk!

In philosophy, happiness translates the Greek concept of eudaimonia, and refers to the good life, or flourishing, rather than simply and emotion. In psychology, happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being which can be defined by, among others, positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. Happy mental states reflect judgments by a person about their overall well-being. Outside of these definitions, what is true happiness and how do you create it? Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 13 - Sunday, January 14 from 1:00pm-6:00pm at John Waldron Arts Center Rose Firebay. If you, or anyone you know, are interested in auditioning and sharing your story please contact walkthetalkseries@gmail.com for more info.
