Taste of Bloomington

Event Overview

The 27th Annual Taste of Bloomington will be Saturday, June 20 from 3 pm to 11 pm at Showers Common in Downtown Bloomington. Admission is $6 with children under 12 admitted free.

Farmer’s Market will close at Noon on June 20 to allow for set up of Taste of Bloomington that will begin at 3 pm.

Live Entertainment

The Taste of Bloomington features continuous live entertainment. The entertainment schedule is as follows:

3 – 4 pm The Ark Band

4:30 – 5:30 pm Reverend Payton’s Big Damn Band

6 – 7:30 pm Polka Boy

8 – 9:30 pm Here Come The Mummies

10 – 11 pm The Dynamics

New This Year

The event is expanding to the west into the B-line Trail this year with children’s activities by WonderLab Science Museum, Octopus Ink, and more live acoustic music with steel drums by Pan USA

Volunteers and Sponsors

Over 1000 restaurant staff members and 200 volunteers help implement the Taste of Bloomington. The event has won many awards including being voted Best Community Event by Herald Times readers, Community Enhancement Award by Chamber of Commerce, and the Most Uniquely Bloomington Award by the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Truly a grass roots event made possible by a committed volunteer committee and the variety and strength of the Bloomington Restaurant community.

The Taste of Bloomington is co-sponsored by Downtown Bloomington Inc. and the Bloomington Independent Restaurant Association.

Farmer’s Market

Farmer’s Market will be 8 am – 12 Noon at the Showers Common.

Art Fair on the Square

The Art Fair on the Square takes place from 10 pm – 6 pm on the Monroe County Courthouse Square.
