Bloomington hosts 2008 AAU Girls’ Basketball
Division II National Championship
Nearly 30 teams will compete July 4-12.
Some of the participating teams are traveling quite a distance to get here for the tournament – no easy feat with the current price of gasoline. Most teams have worked hard at not only qualifying for the National Championship through their on court play, but also at a variety of fundraisers to finance the trip as well. Spectators are Welcome
Spectators are welcome to attend the tournament and cheer on your hometown teams. Admission for the tournament is $8 for a single day or $30 for a weekly pass. Children age 3-9 are $8 per day or $20 weekly and children under age 3 under are admitted free. Games will begin on Saturday, July 5th at the Bloomington SportsPlex.
