Nestled in the rolling hills of southern Indiana, less than an hour from Bloomington, lies Indiana University’s Outdoor Center, Bradford Woods.   Escape to Bradford Woods with a group of friends, coworkers or family to enjoy one of Indiana’s largest preserved natural areas outside the state and national park systems.  During your visit, be sure to take advantage of Bradford Woods’ nationally-acclaimed outdoor education programs, with dual accreditation by the American Camp Association and the Association for Experiential Education.

Bradford Woods, with its 2,500 acres of pristine land and 110-acre lake, provides an outdoor learning laboratory where IU faculty, staff, students and the general public can sharpen their leadership skills, learn more about our natural environment, build stronger team unity or simply enjoy a relaxing environment that allows them to focus on important professional or personal goals.

Whether your group prefers to spend the evening in the beautifully-restored Manor House or is planning on “roughing it” at Bradford Woods’ primitive campsite, they are sure to enjoy an experience that will enrich their lives and working relationships.  Bradford Woods’ skilled programming and event planning staff work one-on-one with each client to identify the right combination of overnight accommodations, menus and activities to fit each group’s needs.  Bradford Woods’ staff has a variety of resources to create just the right experience for our groups: a universally-designed amphitheater, meeting spaces for up to 250 people, a climbing wall, universal high and low ropes courses, more than 15 miles of hiking trails, canoes and pontoon boats.

Bradford Woods currently accepts reservations for groups of 8 or more.  If you would like to take advantage of our adventure programs, we recommend you book your event at least 10 business days in advance.
