Lost Man's Lane Cabin
Ambience abounds in this enchanting log cabin built in the 1920's and 30's. Lost Man's Lane Cabin sits on 40 wooded acres, nestled midway up the side of Brown Ridge. Visitors must park a distance from this cabin and walk uphill. Lost Man's Lane is located 3 miles from Bloomington, 8 miles from Paynetown State Recreation Area on Monroe Lake, and 13 miles from Little Nashville and Brown County on State Road 46.
The charming gazebo on top of the hill offers a panoramic view of sunrises and sunsets. The spacious limestone patio with picnic table, limestone grill and deck chairs is perfect for festive gatherings.
The cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests with a master bedroom with queen size bed , a second bedroom with bunk beds and a queen size sofa bed in the great room. The cabin has one bathroom with shower, hot and cold running water and a filtered drinking water system.
The loft entertainment area has a TV, DVD with CD changer, surround sound system and a DVD movie library. The large living room has a natural wood-burning fireplace. The screened-in front porch has wicker chairs and a porch swing. Abundant wildlife awakens the spirit and the idyllic natural setting relaxes and revitalizes the soul.
