Powell Preserve

Bordering Beanblossom Creek, the Powell Preserve offers a diverse mix of natural habitats, including forested hills, bottomland woods, and a prairie. The prairie, composed of native glasses and wildflowers, makes a great place to watch for butterflies, particularly during late summer and fall.

Owned by Sycamore Land Trust, Powell Preserve is open for outdoor recreation activities like hiking, birding, wildlife observation, and nature photography.
