Culture & Heritage

There are several unique cultures represented in Bloomington and a tremendous amount of local history and heritage, all adding to the interesting blend that makes this such a diverse yet unified community. Discover the area's storied limestone industry, or visit the only place in the Western Hemisphere where you can see real Tibetan stupas and more.

Visit one of the many cultural centers to learn more about the different segments of the community, or explore the local heritage through landmarks and historic sites. Contact the Bloomington Visitors Center for more information on walking tours through some of Bloomington's most fascinating historic districts.
