There are many unique cultures represented in Bloomington, all adding to the interesting blend that makes this such a diverse yet unified community. The most notable is perhaps the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center, founded in the 1970s by the Dalai Lama's brother. Several others are located on the Indiana University campus. You can visit these cultural centers to learn more about the different segments of the community.
