To help serve this need, downtown Bloomington offers many parking opportunities.

On-Street Parking

Rate: Metered, on-street parking is available in downtown Bloomington at a rate of $0.25 per 15 minutes.

Enforcement Times & Days: Meters are enforced Monday through Saturday, from 8 am to 9 pm. On-street parking is free on Sundays and City holidays.

Payment Options: Meters will accept $1 coins, quarters, dimes and nickels. Meters also accept MasterCard, Visit and Discover cards. When paying with a credit card a convenience fee of $0.30 per transaction will be added and there is a one-hour minimum purchase. Meters do not accept paper currency and do not give change. You can also pay the meter using the Parkmobile app, which uses the Pay-As-You-Go system. Please note: you are responsible for any fees incurred if you forget to stop the timer when you return to your car.
