Lilly Library
Just for looking…..you don’t want to miss the Lilly Library on the campus of Indiana University. A world-class rare book and manuscript library, the Lilly Library houses extraordinary collections that attract scholars and readers from around the world. The Lilly Library contains a collection of 20,000 books, 17,000 manuscripts, more than fifty oil paintings, and 300 prints.
Morgenstern Books
The largest independent bookstore in Indiana, Morgenstern Books, is a modern, spacious bookstore known for author events, community gatherings, and well-curated selections of new fiction and nonfiction. Meg Cabot
Meg Cabot has written and published over 80 novels of young adult and adult fiction and is best known for her young adult series The Princess Diaries, which was later adapted into two feature films. Meg is both a Bloomington native and an IU alumna. Her work remains cherished by young adult readers worldwide.
Michael Koryta

Ross Lockridge Jr.
Born in Bloomington, Ross Lockridge Jr., is the author of Raintree County, considered a monumental piece of American literature. Lockridge Jr. died just two months following the publication of his novel, later turned into a movie starring Elizabeth Taylor in 1957. He is buried at the beautiful Rose Hill Cemetery in Bloomington.
