Join the Fair for their annual fireworks show! Gates open at 7:00 PM. - Their fireworks will now take place on Saturday, September 26 due to weather.

Independence Day Community Celebration of Emmanuel Church

Celebrate Independence Day with us on Friday, July 3, at 6:00 PM. This evening will be filled with fun for the whole family with local food trucks, cornhole, yard games, music, and fireworks.

Open Swim Day
Fourth of July Parade
A live performance by the Bloomington Community Band begins at 9 a.m. on the south side of the Monroe County Courthouse at 100 W. Kirkwood Ave., followed by the parade at 10 a.m. The Bloomington Community Band performance and the Fourth of July Parade may be delayed or cancelled for safety in the event of extreme weather. Independence Day Annual Fireworks Show at Lake Lemon

- Location: Lake Lemon
- Admission: $25.00 per vehicle
Celebrate the 250th Independence Day at Lake Lemon with a night of community, great views, and one of the best fireworks shows in southern Indiana. Food trucks will be on site, and fireworks begin at dusk. Watch from shore or water and enjoy the evening. The cost $25/vehicle for entry.
Ellettsville Fireworks Celebration
- Time: 5:00 PM
- Location: 601 Edgewood Drive, Ellettsville
- Admission: Free, donations accepted
The fireworks show will be viewed near the Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corp. property, including the cross country course and tennis court areas at Edgewood Schools, according to a flyer from the fire department. The rain date for the event is Friday, July 10, 2026.
