The carvings on Meyers Hall are fascinating. Architectural sculpture on the building includes science reliefs, owls and carved faces. A tripartite relief contains scenes of scientists sitting at work stations, each separated by a border. On the right, a scientist looks into a microscope, with a frog, human heart and stalk of beans above him. In the center section, a scientist holds a flask overhead with his proper left hand, with alembic on a table. On the left section, a scientist peers into a microscope, a pelvis skeleton and an embryo above him. Other architectural decoration includes stylized owls, which decorate projections along the water table, and carved faces in the windows. The artist is unknown.
