The primary purpose of Cook Hall is to provide facility needs for the Men and Women's Basketball programs to practice, train and condition.

Cook Hall is also home to the Pfau Shine Legacy Court, a unique museum/exhibit space that chronicles the history of Indiana basketball with photographs, artifacts, trophies and interactive touch-screen kiosks that celebrate IU's championship teams and basketball traditions. Legacy Court gives IU alumni and fans a unique opportunity to experience IU's celebrated basketball history.

The Pfau-Shine Legacy Court is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm EST. On game days during football and basketball seasons, public hours for Pfau-Shine Legacy Court will vary depending on use of the facility for team needs.
