In just five years, Pictura has gained a reputation for its nuanced exhibits and has come into the public eye as a thoughtful new venue for emerging and established artists. The gallery specializes in contemporary photography, focusing on strong formal sensibilities and depth of content. Additionally, the gallery serves as an educational resource for Indiana University and the community through artist and curatorial talks.

Pictura Gallery is a member of the Downtown Bloomington Gallery Walk.

  • Description Looking for an intimate setting for a reception, family dinner, or party? Pictura gallery, on the square in downtown Bloomington, offers an upscale space where guests can enjoy events amidst stunning fine art photography. *Seats up to 50 dinner guests *Accommodates up to 200 guests for standing cocktail parties or receptions *$75 per hour, two hour minimum. Deposit of $150 due upon booking. *Available evenings, all day Sundays and Mondays, and other times by special arrangement *Contact Martha Moore martha@picturagallery.com , or 812-336-0000.   • Space Notes The gallery has a separate kitchen with small refrigerator, microwave, and sink. A large table in the kitchen provides workspace for food preparation or catering needs. The gallery has large windows on two sides offering great views of the Courthouse. Windows are equipped with louvered blinds so guests can regulate their privacy.
