Total Solar Eclipse by the Lake!

Lake Lemon’s Riddle Point Park will offer a truly unique way to experience the upcoming 2024 total solar eclipse. In our 14 acre park you will have unobstructed views of the sky. Tent and RV camping is a two night package (currently no single day or single evening tickets). You can arrive as early as Sunday morning 4/7/2023 10:00 am EST with checkout on Tuesday morning 4/9/2023 by 3:00 pm EST.

Total Eclipse 2024 at Monroe Lake

Monroe Lake is in the path of the total solar eclipse in April 2024... and very close to the center, so our location will experience an amazing 4 minutes of totality! We will be offering special programming before and after the total eclipse, which is open to both campers and the general public.

IU Hoosier Cosmic Celebration

Indiana University’s Hoosier Cosmic Celebration is an epic event featuring music, singing, dancing, and more. Held at Memorial Stadium on the IU Campus, the event welcomes students, educators, neighbors, and the general public to share in this astounding astronomic event and celebrate the best of Indiana University arts, culture, and science. IU performers will take the stage with national celebrities to present what is surely the most cosmic eclipse-themed program in the world, an extravaganza of astronomical proportions focused on one life-changing event—a total eclipse—in grand Hoosier style. Appearances from actor William Shatner and Mae Jemison, America's first woman of color to travel to space will be followed by a concert from a Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and actress Janelle Monáe. Other eclipse related activities are happening on campus at Dunn Meadow, the Arboretum, IU Cinema, IU Auditorium and more.

Come early to secure your $10 parking. Walking or bicyclers are free! Activities include, food trucks including Pili's Party Taco and Little Bowl Thai Chicken, a Treasure-Planet Easter Egg hunt (10:30am) with over 1000 prize filled eggs and live music. Respectful silence will be observed for the 15 minutes leading up to the Eclipse Event at 3:04 PM. Restrooms onsite and glasses available for purchase.

Celestial Sips + The Solar Eclipse

Don't miss this celestial celebration! We'll provide eclipse glasses for safe viewing, along with complimentary tastings of two of our newest innovations. There will be special wine deals, a clear view in our demo vineyard, a DJ, Food trucks, and easy restroom access. Lawn chairs and outside food are permitted on the grounds only (no patios). No grills or open flames are allowed. No overnight parking or RVs are permitted. Outside alcohol is prohibited by law. Dogs are permitted on grounds but must be leashed. This event is weather dependent, and parking is limited. All visitors (except children under 12) will pay for entry on April 8, 2024.

We are offering parking, grassy lounging areas, a playground, indoor bathrooms, lunch & concessions for purchase, on April 8th, for Solar Eclipse observation. Bring your pets (don’t forget their leashes and to clean up after them!), footballs, frisbees, lawn chairs, and picnic blankets - there's plenty of space to spread out, relax, and have family-friendly fun. Pack your lunch - or buy lunch from us (see meal tickets in our link). Be sure to bring your own Solar Eclipse eye protection! Please no - fireworks, grills, or alcohol.

This is a FREE event. Come early for a featured live performance of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" in its entirety 11:30am - 1pm. Please bring your own chairs, blankets, snacks, and coolers. Dress for the weather. We'll have porta johns. (camping is available Sunday and Monday nights for a nominal fee)

Drinkin' In The Dark

Reserve a table in-doors, or outdoors on our covered deck and patio, or purchase general admission tickets to gain access to the grounds and bring your own chairs or picnic blankets. This is a rain or shine event, so dress accordingly. Outside food is allowed! Additional cheeses, sausage, crackers, sodas, and bottled water will be available for purchase. Wine will be available to purchase by the glass or bottle. No outside alcohol will be allowed.
This is a ticketed event only. Tables and chairs are by reservation, or bring your own chair or picnic blankets with a General Admission ticket. Parking is limited, so plan ahead!
