Indiana Heritage Quilt Show

Admission: $10.00 per ticket for a daily pass, $20.00 per ticket for a 3-Day pass, $2.00 per ticket for ages 7-12, 6 and under free
Enjoy the 33rd Annual Indiana Heritage Quilt Show, one of the top quilt shows in the Midwest. Over 200 beautiful quilts will be on display. Take a workshop from some of the top quilting instructors in the country, browse through hundreds of fabrics and other sewing notions and accessories in the vendor area, enjoy special travelling quilt exhibits and quilt-related exhibits at area museums. Food and drink sold onsite.
2026 Candy Stripe Classic Criterium
Date: Sunday, March 8

Location: Bloomington Trades District
Admission: Free
The Candy Stripe Classic is a two-day bicycle racing weekend attracting hundreds of registrants from the Midwest. On Sunday March 8th, we will be hosting an action packed criterium-style bike race in the downtown Bloomington Trades District, which will host over 400 racers from across the Midwest. For the community, there will be food trucks, vendors, live music, and a FAMILY FUN RIDE! Vendors and food trucks will be stationed along E Makers Way.
Pet Expo

The annual Bloomington Pet Expo is your go-to event for everything pets! Explore the latest products, meet adorable animals, and get expert advice from pet care professionals. Whether you're a pet owner or just an animal lover, it's a great day out for all ages. Bring your furry, feathered, or scaly companions for a day of fun and discovery! Well-behaved pets on leashes or secured in appropriate carriers are welcome.

Our DIY Bar is going full fiber—make a needle-felted animal, crochet your own dino, or sew up an octopus friend. Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or a curious beginner, this night is all about working with your hands and letting the yarn do the talking. Photos show a sample of the kit options available. This ticket reserves your seat for the night, not a specific piece. You’ll receive $5 off whichever kit you choose during the event.

Banff Film Festival World Tour

2026 State of the City

Mayor Kerry Thomson will take the stage for Bloomington’s 2026 State of the City, an evening dedicated to where we’ve been, where we’re headed, and how we move forward together. This free, public event invites residents, businesses, and community partners to gather downtown for a shared look at Bloomington’s progress and priorities. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a reception to connect with neighbors and city leadership.

Revolution & Reflection: Campus Experiences in Art, History, and Ideas is an arts plaza invitation to everyone to imagine the people and ideas of the United States of America at its founding and as it expanded west. Look for your guide, President George Washington, as you drop in to visit these three revolutionary destinations: The Lilly Library presents The Declaration of Independence: The Motives, The Moment; The Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art showcases George Washington’s portrait by Gilbert Stuart; and IU Auditorium is the caretaker of Thomas Hart Benton’s iconic murals, titled The Social History of Indiana.
