Monroe Lake is in the path of the total solar eclipse in April 2024... and very close to the center, so our location will experience an amazing 4 minutes of totality!
Please go to our main event page at http://bit.ly/monroe-eclipse-2024 for updates on campsite availability, property conditions, parking capacity, programming, and more.
Campsites at Paynetown SRA may reserved 6 months prior to your arrival date at http://camp.in.gov. Due to the crowded roads expected before/after, campers should consider booking an extra night before/after the eclipse to enjoy the park - it'll be a lot more fun than sitting in traffic for extended periods!
We will be offering special programming before and after the total eclipse, which is open to both campers and the general public.
