Karst Farm

 

Splash pad at Karst Farm Park

Make a splash this summer at the Karst Farm Park Splash Pad. The perfect place to cool off and have fun! Open to the public from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM every Friday through Monday, it’s a great weekend destination for families, friends, and anyone looking to beat the heat. The Splash Pad opens annually on the Friday before Memorial Day and stays open through the Monday after Labor Day.

Switchyard Park Splashpad

Go to the Switchyard Park Splash Pad for a fun spot for kids to run through the water and make the most of sunny days. It’s open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM starting Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. After Labor Day, you can still enjoy the fun on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Lower Cascades Park

 

Waterfall at Lower Cascades Park

Close to downtown Bloomington, enjoy the fun of Lower Cascades Park. The Cascades Creek runs throughout the park and even has a small waterfall for kids to enjoy. There are two limestone shelter houses and picnic areas if you want to bring a snack or lunch to your water day.

Located in Bryan Park, the Bryan Park Pool is an Olympic-size pool that provides fun for the whole family. The pools has three water slides: the Channelblaster, Bladerunner, and Vertical Drill and a concession area, the Cutter's Cafe. For parents, there are lounge chairs available free of change to stretch out and relax.

Indiana University Outdoor Pool

 

IU Outdoor Pool

For an on campus option, head to the IU Outdoor Pool. Amenities include a 10-lane pool, an instructional pool, a diving well with multiple diving boards, locker rooms, a pool deck with lounge chairs, and swim lessons.

Mills Pool

 

Mills Pool

Bloomington Parks and Recreation

Mills Pool is open to the public and features a 57-foot drop slide, a water basketball goal, floatable animals, lounge chairs, shade umbrellas, and a large, zero-depth family activity play area. It is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
