Dining Out & Ordering In on Christmas

Christmas is a magical day often filled with homemade gingerbread cookies, oven-baked ham, buttery mashed potatoes, and the other expected Christmas dishes & desserts, but it takes a lot of work to whip up everything in the kitchen for the entire family. If you're not interested in destroying your kitchen (and your sanity) this year, you'll be happy to know that you have other options for a holiday feast in Bloomington.

PRE-ORDERED MEALS

Bob Evans

Bob Evans will offer several meal packages for Christmas pre-orders, available for pickup or delivery. Choose from four dinners, two that serve up to 10 people, one that serves up to eight people, and one that serves up to four people. Call the restaurant at (812) 334-2515 or visit their website to place your order.
 

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel will offer several meal packages for Christmas pre-orders, available for pickup from December 21-28 (excluding Christmas Day). Choose from three dinners, one that serves 8-10 people and two that serve 4-6 people. Call the restaurant at (812) 323-9114 or visit their website to place your order.
 

Hive

Hive is accepting pre-orders for a holiday meal for four, as well as a la carte desserts and sides, via their online ordering form and by phone at (812) 287-7405. The menu can be found on their website. Orders must be placed by Monday, December 11 at 3:00 pm for pick-up between 11:00 am-9:00 pm on Friday, December 23.

Amrit India

Amrit India will be open from 11:00 am-3:00 pm and 4:30-10:00 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For any questions, call (812) 650-3812.

 

Asuka

Asuka will be open from 11:00 am-10:00 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For any questions, call (812) 333-8325.

 

Best Taste

Best Taste will be open from 11:00 am-9:30 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For any questions, call (812) 822-1737.
 

Bob Evans

Bob Evans will be open for sit-down dining from 8:00 am-7:00 pm on Christmas Eve, serving their regular menu as well as special holiday offerings. They are closed on Christmas Day.

 

Casa Brava

Casa Brava will be open for sit-down dining from 11:00 am-3:30 pm on Christmas Eve, although they may close early if business is slow. Call first. They are closed Christmas Day.

 

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel will be open for sit-down dining from 7:00 am-2:00 pm on Christmas Eve. They are closed on Christmas Day.

 

Dragon Express

Dragon Express will be open from 11:00 am-10:30 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, serving their regular menu.

 

Homey Hot Pot & Sushi

Homey Hot Pot & Sushi will be open from 12:00 pm-9:00 pm on Christmas Eve. For any questions, please call (812) 650-1171.

 

IHOP

IHOP will be open 24 hours on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve.

 

India Garden

India Garden will be open from 11:00 am-2:30 pm and 5:00-10:00 pm on Christmas Eve. They are closed on Christmas Day. For any questions, please call (812) 331-8844.

 

Mr. Hibachi

Mr. Hibachi will be open from 11:00 am-9:30 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, serving their regular menu.

 

Red Authentic Chinese Restaurant

Red Authentic Chinese Restaurant will be open from 11:00 am-9:00 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

 

Siam House

Siam House will be open from 12:00-10:00 pm on Christmas Eve. They will stop seating at 9:00pm.

 

Sunny Palace

Sunny Palace will be open from 11:30 am-10:00 pm on Christmas Eve & 11:00 am-10:00 pm Christmas Day.
 

Taste of India

Taste of India will be open from 11:00 am-3:00 pm and 4:30-10:00 pm on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

 

West Dragon

West Dragon will be open from 11:00 am-9:00 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, serving their regular menu.
